IT’S BIBLE STUDY TIME!!!!  bible-839093_1920

I know many of you have been saying “What has happen to 714ministries web site?”.  Just know that God has been moving (really fast) and there just were not enough hours in the day.  Without a doubt this has been on our minds and ask the Lord to organize us in such a way that we can be attentive to all that He has committed into our hands.  We ask for your forgiveness in not being diligent to keeping 714ministries.com updated and fresh.  We have never fail though to remember all of you in prayer.

okay ya’ll ready? here we go!!!!

We are going to be looking as best we can at 2 Chronicles 7:14 and how we can apply this to our lives.

As we have now begun the last half of the year, it’s a great time for a new beginning. Join us on this journey won’t you.
2 Corinthians 10:3-4 Let’s pray the prayer Jesus taught in Matthew 6:9-13- Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Our first step-Acknowledging God as God
ACKNOWLEDGING GOD-Proverbs 3:5-6 & Colossians 3:17 pull them up and read them…..In all your ways acknowledge Him & whatever you do in word or deed….I agree with you these are very powerful.  Father thank You for Your word for Your word is the truth that sets us free. Help us to keep Your word in our hearts and minds. Help us to acknowledge you in all our ways from this day forth. Hep us to be mindful that whatever we do we do as unto you. Help us not to be weary in well doing for we desire to reap the benefits of life and life everlasting. In Jesus name AMEN

Before we can acknowledge God is all our ways along with doing all in word and deed as unto the Lord we have to know Him. That’s not a strange concept. If you have children, you know them, you know their habits, attitudes, likes and dislikes. If you have a spouse, you know them. If you excel at your job, who’ve taken the time to know all that encompasses what you do. You get the picture. Well on this journey that’s how we develop our relationship with the Father, we spend time with Him and a good place to start is in His word 2 Timothy 2:15. The Barna Group did a study for the American Bible Society and the results are this:
1. Do you believe the Bible is totally accurate in all of the principles it teaches? 48% strongly agreed in 2011, 33% in 2016
2. How often, if ever do you actually read the Bible, not including times when you are at a church event or church service? 25% in 2011; 27% in 2016 stated never; 13% in 2011, 14% in 2016 said less than once a year.
I concur there is room for improvement even in my own life. How and where to start? For the next 3 days dedicate 15mins uninterrupted time reading the word of God. Just 15mins. If you’re feeling adventurous 15mins 3 times a day for the next 3 days. The point is to just start and start today. Now what to read, if you attended services this past Sunday start with the scripture that was given, if not start with Genesis or Matthew; Psalms or Proverbs is a good place. Wherever you start each day that’s where you begin so we may get the full benefit of what the Lord is speaking to us. So dedicate to a start time and a dedicated book. I know the Lord our Father is smiling right now saying “look at my children, they want to spend time with me”.

The plan
If you choose to accept this mission, is ongoing.
1. Humble yourself (humanility is not a lack of power but a show of strength in the company of man. It is a show of submission to Almighty God)
2. Pray (make a solemn request to Jehovah in Jesus name)
3. Seek (Matthew 6:33) ask God’s will
4. Turn (from things we know are not right, things not pleasing to God)
The Result
1. God Himself will hear
2. God Himself will forgive
The Reward
